This 5-shelf display unit was designed by Poul Cadovius and produced by Royal System in Denmark beginning in 1962. This minimalist shelving unit is part of the award-winning Abstracta modular system constructed of chrome metal tubes with connectors and floating glass shelves. The Abstracta system has won many design awards and, since 1967, has been part of the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Steel frame and glass shelves are in very good vintage condition with scratches consistent with age of each piece. Some glass shelves have very small edge chips.
